The Orbit Connected Sales Return Policy for GPS telematic devices excluding GPS cameras and video equipment is as follows. Any GPS telematic device purchased from Orbit Connected, Inc. may be returned for any reason for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of purchase date. The amount refunded will be for the purchase price and state sales tax, if any. The amount refunded does not include the original shipping and handling charges or return shipping charges.
In the event of a GPS telematic device purchased from Orbit Connected failing to operate within the warranty period, Orbit Connected will replace the defective unit with the same make and model or with a similarly priced unit in the event the defective unit is no longer in production for a period of up to 2 years unless the manufacturer's warranty specifies a longer warranty period.
GPS Video Cameras and Video Devices
The Orbit Connected Sales Return Policy for GPS video cameras and video equipment is different from GPS telematic devices and is as follows. Since professional installation is required to meet manufacturer warranty requirements, customers need to coordinate with Orbit Connected for confirmation that the device is not working properly before returns can be authorized. Once confirmed, Orbit Connected will replace the defective GPS video unit with the same make and model for a period of up to 2 years unless the manufacturer's warranty specifies a longer warranty period. In the event of a manufacturer's model becoming discontinued, Orbit will work with the manufacturer to supply a comparable unit.
Billing and Software Usage
Orbit Connected requires automatic monthly billing for monthly software subscription charges. The billing date begins on the day which the account is activated and is automatically billed on same day for each successive month until service is cancelled. In the event of cancellation, the monitoring software will be shut off on the last day of the billing cycle without any partial month or pro rata refund for unused data transmission and software usage. Our billing policy includes no contracts, no set up fees, and no cancellation fees.
